Lisa heard of some teachers from Oakview Elementary that had been displaced from their school due to the removal of asbestos. The staff was asked to move to a temporary teaching spot and to remain there teaching until the asbestos removal was completed. Imagine how difficult that must have been . . . no materials . . . you can't go back in the building. How in the world would you have what you need day after day? What an incredible stress that must've been on the teachers, students, and their families!
Lisa reached out to a bunch of us TpT'ers and asked teachers to donate to help our colleagues. Of course I said Yes! Holy smoke! I thought about how awful that must be! Then Lisa and her amazing friends worked tirelessly organizing materials, printing, and organizing them for the displaced teachers. It was a ton of work but Lisa worked tirelessly so others' lives could be made easier. It's a great feeling to help others.
Here's the amazing bloggers who freely donated materials to help others. Hugs to you all! Your generosity speaks for itself!
